Senator Duckworth secured $450,000 in federal funding through a FY26 Congressionally Directed Spending Request for The Growing Season. This funding will support the mission of The Growing Season and The Aux in empowering entrepreneurs from underserved communities in Chicago in gaining access to small business opportunities.
