$1 million Duckworth-secured federal funding for Illinois's Electric Paratransit Vehicle Program

Senator Duckworth secured $1 million in federal funding through a FY23 Congressionally Directed Spending Request for the Illinois Department of Transportation. This project will help IDOT deploy battery-electric paratransit buses and related charging infrastructure to rural and urban public transportation providers across the state.
