$900,000 Duckworth-secured federal funding to enhance the capacity address homelessness in suburban Cook County

Senator Duckworth secured $900,000 in federal funding through a FY23 Congressionally Directed Spending Request for Advocate Christ Medical Center. This project will help enhance capacity at the Southland Hospitals and Shelters Collaborative Partnership - a group of local hospitals and social service agencies who collaborate to provide medical care, emergency housing services and short-term emergency assistance to families who are experiencing homelessness in suburban Cook County.
