$1 million Duckworth-secured federal funding for the Mount Morris Fire Station

Senator Duckworth secured $1 million in federal funding through a FY23 Congressionally Directed Spending Request for capital improvements in Mt. Morris. Mt. Morris Fire Protection District will provide funding for the design, engineering and site work for the construction of a new fire station in Mt. Morris, Illinois. The existing fire station has not been updated since the 1920s.
