$1 million Duckworth-secured federal funding for SIU School of Medicine

This $1,050,000 in Duckworth-secured federal funding will support a telehealth center at the SIU School of Medicine. SIU's National Telehealth Center for Patient Engagement and Provider Education aims to educate the public and medical professionals on the use of Telehealth in clinical practices, while providing patients with access to a video library and other support services that help individuals access telehealth services for medical services. The Center will also offer professional development opportunities for medical professionals on how to optimize the use of Telehealth within their practice and clinical settings.
