$1 million Duckworth-secured federal funding for Rockford's Emergency Operation Center

Senator Duckworth secured $1 million in federal funding through a FY23 Congressionally Directed Spending Request for the City of Rockford. This project will help fund the construction of a Homeland Security Emergency Operations Center (EOC) for coordination of emergency response activities in Rockford. This center will serve as the hub of all response activities for fire, police, public works and other governmental and non-governmental officials.
