$1 million Duckworth-secured federal funding for Esperanza Health Centers

Senator Duckworth secured $1,000,000 in federal funding to help Esperanza expand its flagship health center in Chicago's Brighton Park neighborhood. This project will support the community of Brighton Park, which is a U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration-designated Primary Care Health Professional Shortage Area and Mental Health Care Health Professional Shortage Area. This expansion will help increase residents' access to primary care, behavioral health services, substance abuse treatment, psychiatry and a host of wellness programming.
