Sen. Duckworth Discusses Allegations of Sexual Assault Against Brett Kavanaugh

We should not ridicule victims of sexual assault, but support and listen. Dr. Ford has shown a lot of courage by coming forward and she deserves the right to share her story. I joined Meet the Press to discuss how the Senate needs to take these allegations very seriously and set an example for the rest of the nation that we will not dismiss a victim’s claims or sweep them under the rug just for the convenience of someone’s timetable.
